We will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation place in a comfortable car or minivan in Oporto around 08:45 AM or at any time according to your preference.

During the winter, engage in ski activities, snowboard and sledge rides; during the summer, enjoy the fluvial beaches and magnificent lagoons.

The great granite and shale mountain range that dominates the heights in mainland Portugal and which reaches 1993 meters of altitude on the tower plateau, is the second highest elevation in the whole country.

Join us in this adventure to the natural park of serra da Estrela, the largest protected area in the national territory, is home to unique and rare species such as the water mole, the mountain gecko and the cervum.

Your guide will gladly fix a custom itinerary based on the small group interests but always going by the main revelant spots, stoping by local pastry, offering the option to see the traditional and local and also enjoy the memorable landscapes attractions, knowing the most typical people and places of the region, and off course, introducing the highest mountain of this so famous and so portuguese snowing destination.

We will meet you at your accommodation in Porto, and we depart straight to Serra da Estrela. Arriving there, we will visit the Cheese factory and learn it’s history. This visit will takes around 40 minutes. After this, we will experience the Bread Factory visit and history, that takes around also 40 minutes. Later we will try a delicious traditional and regional Lunch with the best options in the area recommended by the guide based on your taste. Duration: 1 hr 30 min (vegetarian option available). During the afternoon, we will take a walk in Serra da Estrela Natural Park and try an amazing visit to the lagoons. Around 4:00 PM we start our way back to Porto. Take this moment to enjoy the wonderful mountain landscapes and take beautiful pictures. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel around 6:00 PM.

During our visit to the region we will recommend many places to see, to take pictures, to enjoy, to taste and to walk around. If you are not interested in having the lunch we have planned for you, there is no problem at all. We can recommended you the bestplaces for lunch according to your preferences (typical Snacks, Sandwiches, traditional food, fishfood, Seafood, Vegetarian and also international food). Freetime will be given and you can choose wherever you want to go. It will be a pleasure hosting you in our country.
